The Company Our Mission Message from the Director Employment	The company was formed in November 1994 as a Partnership firm with the objective of operating all aspects of world-wide cargo consolidations by sea as well as developing a ship agency network, nationally and globally. The company since then has grown steadily. It has a family of 35 staff members on its rolls. The staff strength is expected to reach 50 in the foreseeable future with the company expanding its national network of major and minor stations to include at least 4 branches. In November, 2000 the company was registered as a Private Limited Company to facilitate its growth. The company is a Multimodal Transport Operator, registered under the Multimodal Transport Operator Act of the Government of India, fully insured for its world-wide operations for both Sea and Land transportation. Trans-Cargo Shipping Agencies has successfully launched its in-house data analysis and reporting software which, when integrated with our new website, will enable its customers to conduct a detailed analysis of shipment positions and of their supply-chain. The new software, which has been developed on the basis of the in-house experience and research, is a web tool that provides information services on-line. The company is currently developing its interactive customer-friendly website with a comprehensive on-line tracking system. The new website is to be launched in 2002. This will dramatically reduce communication time and information flow time for its customers around the world. All event changes will be accessible within 24 hours at every level from the origin till the end-user. With this we will also make a giant leap forward in e-business since the company is equipped to release electronic Bills of Lading subject to adoption of such Bills of Lading legally by the Government of India Authorities. In year 2001 we have completed 7 years in business and we are proud of the fact that our company is still young and dynamic. We have the right values, the vision, the drive and the capability to grow to become the best in the industry and our constant endeavor is towards this goal.
